FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Thunder Bay, ON (November 8, 2018) – The Ontario SPCA is seeking information from the public after a man was reported to be selling puppies that were only days old in the south end of Thunder Bay.
The Ontario SPCA received a concern regarding a man allegedly selling an unknown number of bulldog-type puppies from a duffle bag on Vickers Street North around October 29, 2018. The Ontario SPCA is trying to locate the puppies, which may be in need of medical attention as a result of being separated from their mother.
“We urge anyone with any information that could assist us on this matter to come forward immediately as we are very concerned for the welfare of these puppies,” says Lynn Michaud, Senior Inspector, Ontario SPCA. “If you purchased one of these puppies, we’d like to hear from you so we can try to determine the identity of this man.”
